I want something like this for a project but can't seem to find one.

CMMG sells a nice 1-7 M4 style that is 16" or at least they use to.

I just got one of CMMG's 1-7", 16", M4 barrels and I'm very pleased! I have had not extraction or feeding problems with the first 260 rounds. Accuracy has been on par with any Bushmaster or Colt barrel that I have used in the past. If you want or need a 16" barrel with a 1-7 twist it is hard to beat CMMG's price.

I installed one of the CMMG supplied 1/7 M4 barrels on an M16A1 upper from CDNN, the windage zero'd with only 2 or 3 clicks off center, and it looks and shoots great. I wish they had been able to deliver the promised rifle length 1/7 barrels...heck, I like the M4 one enough to want another for a second similar build.

Bushmaster had 14.5" 1/7 M4 barrels in stock last week when I got my new upper.
