Not true, use the search funtion with phantom as topic for all the info you could ever want in regards to Flash hiders. :)

My 14.5in Bushy Barrel and perm. Phantom measures 16.1in. The Phantoms are designed to make a 14.5in barrel reach the 16in legal limit. HS1 |

Just be sure it is permanently attached, then you are at 16.1" and perfectly legal.
