Does anyone make a chrome lined 14.5 inch version of  the "ultralight" type barrel that Bushie puts out?  I'm trying to build up to shortest, lightest AR I can for my 9 year old son.

Going to start him off w/a .22 conversion unit in it, using a multiposition early issue type stock piece w/a C7 type upper.  I'll use the Bushie barrel if I have to, but if there's a shorter dup around, I'd rather use it, w/a flash suppressor on it long enough to make it legal

The Bushie piece is, of course. a 1in9 twist dup of the barrel Colt put on the SP1 and 2 carbines.

get with jtdistributing, they offer one in their catolog. you can find them in the industry forum. cmmg offers one but its .750 at the fsb

These guys have 14.5" w perm phantom and a 14.7" with perm A2 and their barrels are 1-7 twist.

Personally I would go with the 14.7".
