COLT makes them will have to be bought through www.sawlesales.com or kent lomont in idaho has them. 208 756 6819 Their are other makers out there also olymic arm american spirit arms in my opinion they are not as good. But some people have had good luck with them.

The barrel will have to go on a registered machine gun recvr.(m16) ect.
registered short barreled rifle \
registered aow recvr. or
a recvr that started out as a pistol and remains a pistol no butt stock

If you can find a used 16 inch on the boards cut it down. I found a used 16 inch cheap and cut it down my self. It was not that much work, and I saved a lot of money.

How reliable is it? I just email ADCO about building me one and cutting the barrel down to 10.5".

You can check with Urbach Precision, or just order one from www.9mmar15.com/barrel.htm .

I doubt you'll be able to find a Colt factory 634/635 barrel.

I got my Colt 10.5" 9mm barrel from www.sawlesales.com.
