I would just like to offer a suggestion to all who post on this thread. I know the rules say that whoever offers something up will cover shipping, but I have had two envelopes with parts inside ripped open when ran through the machines at the post office. I realize we want to ship this stuff as economically as possible, but if you put small metal parts in an envelope just make sure you take a pen and write "HAND STAMP" on the front and back. I have shipped 4 packages to people and I just use bubble envelopes, most of us have these lying around from other orders. Shipping does end up being a bit more than a first class stamp or two, but I've never had to pay more than $3.50 or so. I would also be more than willing to offer a few bucks to anyone who has anything to pay forward that I could use. Just a suggestion. Thank you to all the kind members who post things on here! Phil

It can jump pretty quick. I sent a guy a couple of A2 grips in another pay it forward thread, and it cost me nearly $10 to do so.

I mailed 4 padded envelopes last Tuesday and everyone received their items Thursday and Friday of same week. Was about $15 or so for all 4.

If the 308 stuff is not claimed I would like to try and fix it. But in all honesty I have zero need for it, just would like to see if I can fix it. I still have stuff listed in the thread I think but can review and see what else I have.

Is this thread for strictly AR parts?
I sold absolutely everything AR related a few years ago to pay medical bills. I'd like to post an "I'll take it", but can only offer up a Ruger Charger/1022 shorty barrel in return. |
