Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - a question I'm ALMOST too ashamed to ask. KAC rail covers. How do you get them off?

I just icked up the M4 Carbine RAS and I can't figure out how to get the rail covers off. All the others I've had have either just slid off with some force on the back of the clip, or grabbed both ends of the pannel and pulled them up to pop it off.

I'd never actually seen one of these before I bought it and it's kicking my ass. This is not being a good weekend for me.

the metal clasp...push it inward, and slide off.  It will only lock into the first and last slot on a KAC rail.  Sometimes, its tough.

ah ha..... thanks man. I was trying to pull it up thinking it would let it clear the rail.


I need to find a smilie of parts beating my ass.
