I purchased a Tango Down Battlegrip several months ago and decided it wasn't comfortable for me.  It felt too narrow and my fingers seemed to keep looking for a groove.   I put the A2 back on and threw the TD into the safe.  Weeks later I finally got around to putting a Hogue Handall Junior onto the TD.  It made a big difference!  The Handall has palm swells on both sides as well as a finger groove - just what I felt was missing on the TD.  And as a bonus, the grip feels more secure.



A few words of wisdom if you decide to try this:  Put the Hogue on from the top of the Battlegrip.  It takes some patience and a lot of stretching, but it will fit.  Also be sure to use the Junior version of the Handall.  The regular size is too big.

Or, you could just buy the Hogue AR15/M4 Grip for $14-$16.  It feels unbelievably right for my hand.  I also have it on my Glock and would never use a different grip.  The only thing you'll be lacking is the storage latch on the bottom of the grip.

I didn't like the Hogue grip's finger positioning.   They were too far apart for me.   No palm swells either like the HandAll/HandAll JR.  

I think the HandAll JR mod will work great for me, thanks for the info.   Better grip and a cheap solution to the Battlegrip being too skinny.
