Does it make it easier? Seems like it could be fun.

Anyway, flame on

Thoughts?  Comments?  Ideas?

I wouldn't think there'd be any difference.

Except that it's be a SBR and look waaaay cooler!

I bet it would be easier. More recoil out of the shorter/lighter rifle with the same trigger.

Wouldn't most if not all SBR's be select fire anyway?

Not if you're poor like me.

No. You can still "make" SBR's. You can't "make" new full-autos.

Most SBRs are not full auto, no.

SO, is an SBR just a $200 tax stamp no wait type thingy?  Do you then register the said firearm?

Go read the tacked thread in the full auto forum.  Yes you register and wait and pay the $200 like any other NFA firearm.

I don't know about SBRs, but my Bushy pistol is entertaining

I took the bugle off my Krink SBR , bumped it and videotaped the flamethrower, recoil of 5.45 not to significant....

Got a video?  That sounds interesting.

We've got a shoot north of Dallas this weekend.  My new camera takes nice quality video.  I'll bump the heck out of my AR pistol and film it for ya'll

Just me, but I think bump firing an SBR is a little tougher than a 16 or 20-inch rifle. Just seems that way, maybe it’s that there’s not enough weight in the front end. My 20-inch A2 will really go though. More fineness required I suppose.

I thnk its harder to do a 20 than 16.  I do all my bumping from the sholder, and I could imagine that a 7.5" ar would run like a champ

From a legal perspective, NO SBR is full auto.  If it was full auto it would carry the legal designation of "machinegun" regardless of barrel/OA length.
