I have heard they are almost the same as Sterling 40 rounders.  Is this true?

Thanks,
Wes

The PMI Mini-14 mags are excellent, and the 40 rnd AR mags I have seen were well made and seemed to function ok.

So how much is a good price for them?  I can find them for 24.99 a piece.  Is that good?

Heck, IM Mail me where to get them at that price, after you get yours, of course.  I'd like to pick up 4 or 5 myself.

Troy, $50+ each is pretty high, but 33% more capacity than a 30-rounder is a pretty big hike. I've got a couple pair in Mag-Cinch setups -- 80 rounds per rig with only one quick mag swap. With 100-round Betas going for $600, the PMIs are a cheap alternative. YMMV.

FWIW, I always switch to green followers, and sometimes the PMIs are a tight fit in my Colt magwell, so they need a little tweaking to drop-free. Once tuned, I parkerize, then molycoat over the park, and they run flawlessly.
