We still have some tweaks to work out but here it is...
PMAG 30 (Polymag 30 rounds) ![]() - Engineered from the ground up to be made of injection molded polymer. - Patent Pending design allows for a more aggressive constant curve of ammo stack than found on other Nylon magazines. - Made of "new to the market" reinforced polymer which is very strong and durable. - Can be seated on closed bolt with full 30 rounds loaded. - Snap cover protects feed lips during long term storage. - Optional maglevel window version that can be read from both sides. - Floorplate lock. - Proprietary anti tilt follower. - Debris grooves built into mag body. - Molded in Black, Flat Dark Earth and OD -Estimated retail price will be $11.95 for non window and $14.95 for dual Maglevel version. NOTE:This magazine is not meant to replace metal mags for individuals who shoot daily for a living. They were made as a volume supplement to issue mags that can be made quickly, in large numbers with minimum variances in manufacture. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Video of Pmag being tested today (Windows Media) |

Sweeeet! Too bad I live in a liberal cesspool with its own version of the AWB that prevents me from buying anything other than preban mags.
![]() |
How soon will they be available for us to Beta test????
Being a grup, I generally like the old round wheel, but have finally accepted some things need improved. I never like Orlites from the word go, but have always liked Magpul products. Please tweak away and then fax me one or three to abuse. ![]() |
Once again 07 is going to be a hard year for my wallet.
![]() They look pretty cool. Any sort of ETA? |
I like that.
Looking forward to visiting your booth at the show. |
wow that's ballsy. a new polymer entry into the mag market. I like how you guys put out improved parts and proven concepts, but also go out on a ledge once in a while. Good luck!
(also interested if these are NY-compliant in terms of replacement mag bodies if one of my shitty pre-ban amgs happens to break ![]() |
Vaguely reminiscent of a Thermold, but different. This should be interesting. It looks like there's some solid thought put into the design.
Very cool!
Just curious, what does "NOTE:This magazine is not meant to replace metal mags for individuals who shoot daily for a living. They were made as a volume supplement to issue mags that can be made quickly, in large numbers with minimum variances in manufacture." mean? That they're not up to the daily use of a military/LEO shooter? (which is fine for me but I'd like to know if it's a durability thing). Glad to see you guys still innovating and not just sitting around resting on your laurels. ![]() |

I am really just describing the mission of these mags. They are not ment to be the pinnicale of mag design but a reliable, easily and quickly fiealdable mag in large numbers. |

... Nice looking mags. Is the quoted statement above imply that Magpul considers these a true "disposable magazine"? The weak-link on any polymer mag is the catch as they don't have the modulus or hardness properties their aluminum counterparts do, able to withstand repeated cycling. ... Has .mil expressed any interest in your new line? I would certainly buy a few to try out. |
![]()
that's my favorite part about this too. |

Those who shoot everyday or very often would be the sort of person who would sift through metal mags and number them to get consistant results. That is ok for the individual shooter but when deploying 100,000s of magazines something as finicky as folding metal is tricky unless you have a good QA program to weed out the ringers which takes time. Molding gives consistancy and speed. We are not on the .mil speed dial so the first they they will hear about this will be at the Shot Show. Rangers will be along shortly for the PMAG |

I think My next build right now will have all Magpul on it.............They are making some great products.
I would like a few in coyote brown to match you furniture. Price?..............I would assume since they said they are for mass production, I assume they will be as cheap or even cheaper than USGI mags.........maybe not.... ![]() |
holy!
looking forward to testing one or two or.... my wife is gonna hate me |
Those look to be very easy to permanently block to 15rds to meet NJs magazine capacity limit.

In other words, if there is a ban, we can run the injection molder 24/7 for a week and stockpile 10 years supply of mags. Bravo. ![]() |
I head back to the desert in a few months want me to test it out there during my 2 weeks in country training? I would do anything to try it out if I could.
Seriously does it come in OD Green to match my OD Green CAV-15? It does I ned to READ the whole post . ![]() |
Ooh! Shiny! Me Likey!!!
![]() I just might buy ![]() |
I'll definitely be looking for these to become available.
I predict you will sell them faster than you can make them, for a good while at least. ![]() |
![]()
I too would like to know this. |
![]()
Well, since they are touted as "a volume supplement to issue mags that can be made quickly, in large numbers with minimum variances in manufacture", that should not be the case. They should be readily available in large numbers at moments notice ![]() |
What type springs are used? Standard 30rd? Stainless, chrome silicon or Xtra power?
Thanks. |

Three please. And make it snappy. J/K. You guys make great products and I'll try some based entirely on your past performance. Plus, they're new. I like new. And I want black.
Ya know...if ANYONE else would have introduced these EXACT mags...C Products included, these would have gone over like a lead balloon. Magpul fucking rocks!!!
Looks like a thermomold and a Orlite Galil mag had sex.
I like it. I will be buying a dozen or so. |

You are so right. I wouldn't trust plastic mags from anyone else, but Magpul has established a trusted reputation. I think these are cool! |
