I have shot approximately 2,000 rounds of this ammunition without any problems.  Firearms were a LMT and M4 Carbine (PAWS receiver); both with a 14.5-inch barrel and shot on semi and full-automatic fire.

I experienced no stoppages or malfunctions; empty bass cases were carefully examined and there were no excessive pressures, blown primers, or case deformations / markings. Accuracy was average; 2 – 3 inch spreads at 100-yards.

This is not match ammunition but good quality average Joe ammunition

I have shot the 2000 (600 rds) and 2004 (160 rds) dates in two Colt M4 carbines and a Gov't carbine.  I had AIM replace 45 of 1000 of the 2000 for serious defects, they sent another 100.  The ammo shot fine in Semi and FA.

About 300 rounds through my Bushmaster M4A3, not one problems with feeding, firing or extracting. 5 shot groups easily covered by a quarter at 75 yards kneeling. I would buy more in a heartbeat if it was available, my carbine likes it...

Several hundred rounds through my RRA without a problem.  I love this stuff.  Too bad you can't get it anywhere anymore.

I continue to find bullet seating depth variances all over the place with this stuff!  I have a case with an "s" shaped split all the way through the neck area I caught on loading inspection.

I have shot a few boxes with good results and bought a 500 rnd case that I have not messed with much--just stuck in to ammo cans except for a couple of boxes and the results above.  I like the price but the consitency is absent.  I am not a basher but I have not had good luck thus far as compared with Fed xm-193 and the Guat.

Bought the 1999 headstamp.

Works fine thru my Colt 20" H-Bar and RRA 16" Carbine.

No external problems with cases: all clean, shiny, and appear to be well-made.

Groups average.

Bought 3K of ADCOM.  1/3rd being 99 dated stuff.  Have gone through roughly 1500.  Works great in the carbines but starts shortstroking in the 20"ers.  The 20's work fine with 855pd...

Also, after shooting, I"ve seen a large buildup of blue stuff in my gas key and gas tube.  Have no idea what it is...

I have fired about 750 rounds to date.  Good function, fair accuracy.  HOWEVER, you should definitely check each round.  I would estimate about 50-60 split or cracked necks out of the 1500 rounds I inspected.  You can't just check a sample of the boxes as this issue occurs randomly.

Oh yeah, I did have two instances where the primer had fallen out after shooting.  I remember because one of the primers got jammed in the groove under the bolt carrier.

I had a previous post on this stuff, probably in the archive. Anyhoo, major problems with primers falling out- practically every round (99 headstamp). After digging out way too many primers from virtually every nook and cranny I will never use this stuff again. I used a 20" Stag build (mil spec). If you had no problems, fine, and I know they had QC issues in '99 but I simply refuse to risk it anymore.  There's better surplus out there at better prices (Guat, etc). I prefer M193 spec anyhoo.

Stuff Works Wonders in my 16"RRA m4 and my Bushmaster 20" Date stamped 02,03,04. Now I have heard reports of 99' having an issue I thinks that the Date or else some ones I.Q.(not mine) hippie.gif
