I finally pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a DI 10mm. I ordered a DI 16 inch flat top upper from Rudy to go with my two 9mm AR's and (a 16 inch RRA and 12 inch Foxtrot Mike pistol) and 16 inch 45 acp rifle. I'm putting the new upper on an Angstadt 1045 lower per Rudy's recommendation. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Love my glock 20!

I will say, when I bought my 10mm ammo in 2019 it was very affordable.

Now, I am hesitant to shoot it

I have two Delta Elite 10 mm's and a Ruger 10mm 1911 (I like the Ruger a lot more) so I thought a fun companion gun would be an AR15 in 10mm. I think I have the ammo situation covered, I have a progressive reloader and a thousand or so empty cases.

Ahh, but how about primers...

Around 11,000 primers and 5k 180 gr fmj fp for reloading and I just ordered another 500 fmj fp's.
So I'm set for at least 3 years on primers but only 2 years on bullets for reloading.

Gotta love a 10. Brian was indeed a 10mm Guru. I'll probably use this one to take a couple of the smallish Does that frequent my yard during Deer season. Sometimes there are as many as eight within 20 yds of the house and home defense and for the grin factor.

Got my Angstadt 1045 lower and the internals installed, just anxiously waiting the 10mm DI upper from Rudy.

What does everyone think about the extra speed from the 16 inch barrel for the 10mm, maybe 150 fps? I am so looking forward to this upper more than any pistol caliber upper (or rifle upper for that matter) I have ever bought. Super combination of a fantastic caliber and a DI AR upper from the PC carbine Master.

Thanks Sean, that is a great chart to keep, good info there.

Where is my upper Rudy, "it's my upper and I want it now".
Just kidding, I'm sure you look funny running around without a butt cause you've been working it off. I think an upper in 10mm is close to an all around setup (with the exception of long range work) and I very much am looking forward to putting it to use.

For some reason the old song that says 'their coming to take me away, hey, hey' comes to mind.

I have been wanting a 10mm carbine upper for a while. First I looked at blowback and decided it was a bad idea. I been thinking about requesting 10mm a DI upper from Macon Armory.
The lower I have is a CMMG large frame Glock from a Guard .45 I got a while back. Its not one of the listed lowers that work. The LRBH works well on this lower.
Also have a QC-10 .45 lower but LRBH is unreliable on that one. The third lower I have is a Black Creek Precision large frame Glock that has a similar bold hold mechanism as the CMMG and works well.
I wonder if any of these will work on his DI upper.

Not sure about that myself, I heard of a lot of people using QC lowers. I would ask Rudy I'm sure he will know. He must have not got anybody to help but his uppers are worth the wait.

Thanks, I am hesitant to call because he is so busy. I hate the phone ringing when trying to do something. I know he looks at this forum and thought he might answer. The CMMG is the one I want to use, the other two are built.
You are looking at 10 weeks so far? You want to sell yours! HaHa just kidding. Be interested to see and hear about it when its shipped.

Congrats on your upper making it into American rifleman.

Just saw the write up in the june/july issue.

If you thought you were busy with a backlog before, this should put you over the cliff (in a good way). lol.
