I built a lower for the eventuall installation of a .22 upper.

Somehow it became a CAR and now I am starting over again.

Initially I was thinking of buying a complete rifle from Spikes since they have announced that they will have lowers with .22 RF Caliber markings.   BUT, I am not really a fan of the M4 barrel profile.   As a civilian I won't be needing a grenade launcher.  Particularly on my my rimfire.....

I have since found Model 1 Sales and this upper really has me intrigued.

1) What can you folks tell me about Model 1 Sales?

2) Will they sell it as part of kit minus lower receiver?

3) Will they build it with mid-length handguards?

4) Would the heavy barrel version be better in your opinion?  

I will contact Model 1 w/ some of these questions but just hoping for a headstart.

They will build it however you want it based on parts availability.

Upper only or I suppose you could order a lower with it as well.

Call and ask about the hand guard and barrel types.

so can i drop my regular ciener kit into it or does it require a modded kit?

it requires a modded kit
which is just the kit with the .223 shell cut off.
