I did a search with no luck. If anyone has a picture of a mid length with an A2 stock, could you post it please?

Thank you.

Go through this thread - Lets See Those Midlengths!!!! as I'm sure there are some pics of what you are looking for in there.

That said, take it from me for a midlength, you really want an A1 length stock!

ETA - Here's one with an A2 stock from page 4 of that thread above.

Keep in mind there is only a 5/8" difference in length between the A1 and A2 stock and while these 2 pictures do not demonstrate it well, the A1 fits and looks much better on a middy (but then again, I think the A1 looks and fits batter on a 20" rifle too!)

Nice stock, who makes it?

Normally she wears a carry handle and Boonie Packer sling for KISS utility.
Performs like a dream.

CMMG lower & LPK & RRA 2-stage trigger.
RRA mid-length upper with 16" Wilson SS barrel, Wylde chamber, 1-8 twist.
Shown with Weaver 2-7X scope in RRA mount.

for those of us who are still trying to memorize the gas-lengths... are these pics of 16" barrels?

Sorry to hijack, but where did you get the C7A1 style detachable handle?

I know this is a bit of a bump but...

Looks like I found my AR's twin.

I also agree about the A1 stock. My A2 stock is about 1 inch too big for me. I have short arms, and will be swapping it out for a cheap A1 stock and give that a try.

Here's the same rifle with an A2 vs an A1 stock:

Real nice rifles. I love them with a fixed stock.

Man, that is exactly the gun I'm building right now except I'm using an A3 upper (with carry handle). CMMG 16" Med-Con 1:7 barrel, Aero lower and CMMG A1 stock. For anyone interested in the CMMG A1 stock (#BS-A1), get it now because they're discontinuing it. There's a lot of symmetry in a mid-length carbine with A1 stock and military hand guard. Just to look at the picture its screaming 'Rifle' - you lose the scale. I can't wait to get all the stuff and throw mine together.

ETA: 'Desert AIP's is actually just like what I'm doing. Seems like a lot of us are thinking along similar lines with the middie.
