Show off that LaRue goodness. I just bought a set myself, and I'll be posting here as soon as it all shows up.

Here's mine, got it last Tuesday:

And a closer view of the FUG:

Took it the range today, for the first time.  The grip core fell out of the MOE grip, each time I fired the gun it would work itself loose.  I tried bending the tab so it engaged better, but it snapped off.  So -1 on the MOE grip.  Haven't had this issue with any of my Magpul MIADs.  I contacted LaRue to see if they can help me out, otherwise my MOE will run sans grip core.  Next trip the range, I might try one of my MIAD cores, I guess it could also be a problem with the molding of the notch in the MOE that engages the grip core.

First off, nice rifle.

We have seen a few grip caps where the retaining tab is out of spec.  Please contact [email protected] for a replacement.

Thanks Dr. Drake.  My first contact was to LaRue, since I bought the kit from them.  They've already got a replacement MOE grip & core in route, and have asked that I return the original, which I will.  I assume from LaRue it may work it's way back to Magpul.  Good customer service all around, it's appreciated.

Dang, I've seen a bunch of people with UDE Fugs and things already.  If anyone has info on the coating/paint mix (or if someone could do that for me if I paid), please drop me an IM.  Thanks.

Anyone know if Magpul makes the UDE CTR in Commercial Spec? And if so Will LaRue sell the UDE package with the ComSpec stock on request?
I realize I could find milspec buffer parts, but that's one more thing to buy, that I'd like to avoid...

Unfortunately, this isn't my upper. It's my buddy's that I'm storing until he gets his paperwork back (and until he gets back stateside.)

How does your Larue shoot?  I just ordered up a 16" and was thinking of pairing it off with a LMT lower.

Beautifully. With the Trijicon Accupoint, this is the most accurate 16" AR I have. The LaRue 16" Stealth upper is definitely worth every penny. As for your choice in a lower, did you consider ordering the LaRue lower? The LMT is a great choice, but I just think that the LaRue upper and lower make a great pair.

Its a full Stealth upper with a 12" barrel and 10.0 rail. Sits on a LaRue lower. More detailed pics are a few popsts above the last one. Loving this gun, but I need to clean it. Its been through a class, two FDCC's, three range outings and one training range day and I have yet to clean it. I would imagine there's about 2200 rounds through it already. Its dirty

I hate to be a copycat, but your EXACT setup is what I plan to have for my second to next build (I've got 2 ARs now, but I feel that I need another).  I've decided that I need a 308 and I'm going with the JP LRP-07 first.  After that, I need to figure out the process to get the SBR (fortunately I know it can be done easily in my county).  I think that a suppressor would be a nice addition as well (Like Yakrat101).

Great gun and great pics!

I'm guessing that the only place to get the UDE is Larue as it was made for them only?  Is that correct?

I caught a pic of the UDE and have been searching furiously everywhere for it before I knew of the name of the color.  I was just thinking that everyone's camera colors were way off making the real UDE color blow my mind.

When can we expect any more goodies in this color anytime soon and what will they be?

EDIT.  Found most answers on Larue site.

I like the look of the FUG .

On LaRue's sight I don't see a choice in colors for them .

Do they make the FUG in any other colors ?

I'm considering getting one if they come in foliage green .
