Have a chance to pick up a Colt 6920 for $1189.00. Now money is a little tight but the stimulus check will cover it. My problem is how do I justify it? Now I have BRD just like the next AR "junkie" on here but is the so called civilian "Holy Grail" 6920 really worth it? I have these AR style weapons already-
two-Colt Sporter MATCH HBAR rifles
one-Colt AR6721 AR15A3 TACTICAL CARBINE
one-Bushmaster Optic Ready Carbine
one-Bushmaster M16A2 Style Rifle
one-ADS Mid Length HBAR Carbine
Or should I just keep what I have and spend the funds on training, ammo, and PMAG's?

Get it. Its a fairly good price and after the election, you will probably be glad you got one. Colt will hold its value should you ever want/need to part with it.

Thats a Great Price for the Colt 6920 !  I'd dump the Bushy ORC and add the Colt 6920,return on the 6920 if you were to sell it would be better than what your paying for it.Most shops are selling 6920's for about $1400.00 +      GRAB IT !!!

I too say grab it at that price with the "free" money you're getting from the gov't. You can always sell one or more of the other rifles & supplement your BRD funds that way for other gun related purchases. We all know you wouldn't field the question if you didn't want the 6920. Don't let us be the ones to justify the purchase for you. I'm content with my non-Colt collection of AR's but if I needed another complete AR I'd buy another 6920 to replace the one I sold a year or two ago. I personally just don't need one right now.

That is the best price I have seen on a 6920 in quite a while. I would get it.

Now I have BRD...

I think you just answered your own question.

If you want one at all, get it while you can at that price.  I seriously doubt they get any cheaper.

Absolutely
Do it right now.

Did you really expect us to talk you out of it?

Absolutely.  I have two on the way myself.  I don't think we'll see them any cheaper in the future.  You'll always be abley to get your money back out of it.

If you can afford to keep it, NIB, and wont miss the $$$, buy it.  If not, spend the $$$ on reloading supplies, equipment.  Just my opinion.

Very good price, grab it.

Hell, there's a 6920 and a 6920 HB in my safe...neither get used...But I'm happy to have them in there.

If you can get it for that price, do it.

Sell one of the brand X rifles if you need to.

My question would be is it a new one or slightly used?  Either way, I agree and you should hit the BUY IT NOW button.  Clyde's said that they would have them for $1289, although they are listed on their site for something like $1349, and that is the best that I've seen for a NIB.  Everytime someone said that they could get it cheaper I called their source and it was always more than person quoted here in their thread.  I just agreed to buy my second 6920 too.

What's the worst that can happen - you get forced to sell it some day for $1300?  Get it now.
