My form 1 is back and my 22LR SBR is complete, so it's time to start my 556 upper build.  So lets see them guys.  I need some ideas.  Please include what barrel and handguard you are running.

Thanks

GO back and tell us about those uppers.  I'm sure I am not the only one that wants to know.

The .22 is a DD upper, Larue 9.0 Rail, 1:12 Colt barrel cut at 6.5" w/ no gas port, and the Ciener conversion.  I used a Bushmaster extended CAR flash suppressor to bring it out of the rail while I am waiting on my Gemtech Outback II stamp.  (Check cleared, so it's getting close)

The suppressed upper is a Larue Stealth w/ Larue Gooseneck rail, 12.5" stainless barrel, and Ops 15th suppressor.  Troy sights, Bobro VFG.

The bottom upper is a VIS-2 with a 9.25" HBAR barrel, Noveske brake, and PRI sights.  It was my first SBR, and was made before the VIS-2A, which allows you to use a standard 10.5" barrel to the same effect.

I have EOTechs on five of my guns, and one magnifier that does time on all of them.  Eventually, I will buy an ACOG for one of them, if for nothing else then to just have one.  However, that BAC plays total havoc with my astigmatism.

uxb - That's quite a retro collection.  Gives me some ideas for my next SBR.

I must say...I'm really liking the 11.5" SBR's....almost more so than the 10.5" ones.  Something about that little extra bit of barrel just looks right to my eye.

Thanks

I like the M93B because I believe I could hammer a wedge through a log with it, and not hurt it, or the gun...it feels that strong. It is heavy, but nothing I can't deal with.

Nice one there Stick. How do you like the VLTOR VIS?

I was thinking of getting one of those or a VLTOR MUR with the new Midlength CASV that they are making (well when they come out anyways).
