I dont use a template myself(I copy an
example of the model i,m building by laying it out on
the blank with diechem layout fluid)I,ve had other
customers claim success with the ace template but
heres what can happen, About 90% of the time if you
have a copy off a copy machine it will not be the same
as the orignal IE shorter and fatter or longer and
thinner and sometimes if you print it off the net it
is a little off depending on printer and settings. So
you could have a bad template, I,m thinking this might
be the case as the added .010 in material would only
make the fire control group pin holes .010 lower an
acceptable variance in most ak models and almost
invisable to the eye. The measurement in a direct line
from the center of the trigger pin hole to the center
of the hammer pin hole should be 1.575 inches, if not
then the template is wrong
