i found 2 of the 12 ton presses at harbor freight and was wondering which would be better for builds. one is an A-frame type, the other is an H-frame type. which is preferred? thank you.

Most people I have talked to said the h-frame is more builder friendly.

thanks guys.
where is the best place to buy one of these presses. i asked harbor freight if they would match the price on the homier.com press and they said that it was 2 different presses. damn, the homier one is only $49 but not in stock until mid january. shipping is the killer on the deal so far. $125+ for regular 10 day shipping to hawaii. ooh joy, the price of paradise.

Someone on this board took the ad for the Homier press to Harbor Freight and they ended up matching the price on the Homier. It's worth a try!

Oh wait, do you even have a Harbor Freight in HI?

nope,
no harbor freight here. that topic is where i found about the $49 press. they wouldnt price match saying they were 2 different presses. they look very similar but the dimensions are a little different, and item #s have to match for them to match the price. still looking for one.
