i don't have any way to measure mine accurately. i saw a pic awhile back of a tacticool ak that someone put the 20 dollar ar-15 bayonet adapter on. thoughts on this? they come in two sizes .585 or .700.

i wonder if the bayonet has to be modified also.

if anyone has a pic please post.

also, what bayonet did the galil use-n- how does it compare to the ar-15 ?

looks from that chart that between the sight base and gas block should fall in .594" to .634". i think if i'm reading it right.

so .70 would be too large.  .585 and a little fitting would be the way to go.

i'm not sure if i'm gonna try this or not.

or you can get an AK-47 front sight unit, and a gas block....cost about $40~50.

This will let your MAK take a Type-1 AK-47 bayonet.
