This is nothing. It only scratches the surface. They are facing some really big trouble right now and it has nothing to do with the cc scam. I talked to my friend on goonsnet and he said to keep an eye on the court docket in Winslow. He was pretty confident they would not be able to survive this one. Funny thing is that Thornton has nothing to do with this one. It's all joken.

From what I've read it was an employee at a subcontractor, their website developer, who was intercepting and using the card numbers. Hard to blame JK for this, it could happen to any business that relies on a subcontractor for IT work. I'm a IT subcontractor, self employed, and I can tell you just how vulnerable the average small business is to their IT people. Any unscrupulous IT person could rob the average business blind and they wouldn't know a thing. I've cleaned up after these crooks on more than one occassion.

one thing comes to mind about joeken is a thread where he came and defended his self and said things are going to turn around and how we should trust him cause he's an Army MP that was serving in Iraq ... my personal experiences while serving in the Army is that it would be a serious mistake to trust somebody JUST because they served as an MP or anyone else in the Army ... thats all im going to say about that. Kind of low that he would use serving in the military to get points with his customers anyway. |

I remember that threead, well. I (and others as well)expressed similar sentiments, and he got all defensive and acted like we were belittleing his service. Some of the biggest slugs and scam artists I have ever met, I met in the military. I do not remember recieving a new ultra honest personality when I was handed a DD-214. |

Actually, MPs are the biggest crooks in the Military on average. Go to an MP company anywhere, and they will have a higher then normal rate of Article 15s, drugs, etc. |

I am/was trying to give him a chance, but I don't know if his offer will become reality. I have never had any prior dealings with Joeken, and I sent our FFL to them to receive the AK rifle from them. as much as I hate to say it, some of the rifles they sell are put together well and look like they are finished with gunkote. this is of course from an asthetic standpoint only, I have not been able to fire them. there are some slight issues with the manufacture of the receiver but it sadly looks better than the OOW when it is together. |
