There are few things that have pissed me off on this board. That, my friend, is the most sickening thing I have ever seen.

Hey, I saw a lot of Garand barreled receivers in the pile. Aren't they suppose to send them back under "Lend/Lease" when they are no longer being used????

If we want to try to keep this from happening even more, we must pressure the politicians (of both major parties) to remove all the rediculous importation, production, and sales restrictions.

Hey, I saw a lot of Garand barreled receivers in the pile. Aren't they suppose to send them back under "Lend/Lease" when they are no longer being used????
cduarte stated the greeks had destroyed over 200,000 m1 garands by the time the american government found out and told them to stop doing so and to RETURN OUR PROPERTY!!! yes, the greeks were supposed to send them back...but they only returned a mere 40,000 intact. note the pile of 1919a4's cut to shreds. |

BTW, what other countries still have our Garands that might be sending them home in the future. Such historical destruction must be stopped at all costs?
