can some tell me what the length of tapco ar style stock is collapsed and extended??The factory stock is already really short just wondering if the collapsed position is shorter or longer.

I believe the Tapco telescoping buttstock (when collapsed) is slightly shorter than the average AK wooden stock, and when extended is maybe 3 or 4 inches longer than the standard AK stock.

The standard AK wooden stock never felt comfortable to me (too short) but the telescoping stock feels MUCH better shooting. I feel very good about that purchase, it has made shooting much better. The only downside is other snobby AK owners who are more concerned about looks than function.
