just like it says. Do you have to have them to load the bullets or are they just for speed loading?

You don't need them. The rounds can be loaded one by one without a stripper clip.

thanks

Like USMARINE said, you don't need them. But they sure come in handy and they're pretty inexpensive too. I ordered some strippers after my first outing with an SKS. Just easier and more convenient.

or just get the surplus on the clips already then save the clips then get the big bulk cans

They're sweet, cheap, and easy to load while watching TV or arfcommin. With clean clips and practice, reloads are surprisingly fast. An ammocan full of loaded clips at the range can really be a hoot.

The rifle works fine loading singly, but I think you'd really miss out not using them.

Not when you own a D or M model.

An M model could benefit by using the ak loader. You can woof 3 stripper clips down an AK mag loader in no time flat.

AK guys don't get rid of your stripper clips because you ditched your sks!

They are cheap and can be had at any gun show. Get some, they make loading faster and pain free.

Where are you guys getting them cheap? I normally see them for .50 cents to a dollar each at the gun shows. That isn't what I call cheap when I want 50 to 100 of them.

20 cents each! Order enough to make it worth while to overcome the $10 shipping fee CDNN has. I ordered 7 or so 20 packs and went on a stripper clipping rampage!
