looking for a fixed stock AK in our favorite hard to find 7.62x39. preferably wood stocked, but could go poly too.

looking to buy probably from atlanticfirearms.com but up for suggestions on that as well. they've got about 4 that all roughly look the same but i'm wondering which is the better gun/buy.

which should i go with?

Arsenal hands down.

or you can put forth a little more for a kit build from the likes of AK-USA (ak-103.com) but it will cost a little more.

+1. Love Arsenals, love Chris Butler's stuff even more.

If you are looking in the $650 range I would look at the Vectors. They are nice guns and carry a 5 year warranty. If you find a nice deal you may have enough money left over to buy a case of ammo as well.

Aesenal is fine ... Just be careful when you clean them ... The "Paint" will come off !!

It's a shame they can't come up with a better finish ...
