What we should do is implant RFID tags in all our civilians and troops over there then if this happens again we will know where to send in a rescue mission or to call in a firing solution if its too late.

If we did that the Iraq insurgets would eventually figure it out. And then cut them out of whatever they have to do. However if it worked it would help these bastards to be caught. The other solution would be to draw out our civilians and let the military handle it.

gasp....gasp.....I can't believe that someone in the "religion of peace" would do this kind of thing to a fellow member of the "religion of peace."

I actually think that if they cut her head off, it will hurt the terrorist cause more than they can imagine. Like they say. Allah Akbar!!!!

"Hassan, who is married to an Iraqi, was seized by gunmen Tuesday in western Baghdad as she rose to work in her car. She appeared in the Friday tape wearing what appeared to be a robe or house dress."...

"BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Trembling, haggard and weeping into a tissue, Margaret Hassan, the kidnapped British aid worker who has spent nearly half her life delivering food and medicine in Iraq, begged Britain on Friday to help save her by withdrawing its troops, saying these "might be my last hours."

The gaunt woman's wrenching televised statement - delivered in between sobs - puts new political pressure on Prime Minister Tony Blair's government, a day after it agreed to a U.S. request to transfer 850 British soldiers from southern Iraq to the Baghdad area to free American forces for new offensives against insurgents.

"Please help me, please help me," Hassan, a British-Irish-Iraqi national who heads CARE International operation in Iraq, said in a grainy videotape broadcast by Al-Jazeera television. "This might be my last hours. Please help me. Please, the British people, ask Mr. Blair to take the troops out of Iraq, and not to bring them here to Baghdad.""

Obviously a "TOOL" of Bush's Imperialism of the last 3.5 years...( vs a more "sensative" guy like Kerry would be)...sheeeesh.

For pete's sake....this chick is a "Quizling"who married a SLAG 32 years ago...these manly-men are down to doing this? I'd do the same thing that I did to Leon Klinghoffers' spineliess thug murderers, in the late '80s if I had the chance now. What "Men"......God help her. ....GRRRRRRRR! (Seriously)

I think that if we did, the ACLU and the U.N. would try to prosecute "W" as a war crimminal. Don't we need to get Koffi Annan's permission/blessing first???

I still have n't heard any muslim group speak out against her capture.....crickets criping....sure is quiet out there.

Maybe we should bring back the Arc Light and Linebacker style missions for the B-52s and use them on places like Fallujah just to set an example.

I understand passive RFID only has a range of a few meters. I think the active ones go up to 100 meters or so. Certainly better than nothing, but not a guarantee to find someone. I'd be kind of surprised if they didn't do this to really high risk targets (POTUS, etc).

Do you want a chip inside you? I sure as hell don't!

You know, you've got to wonder about savages that will kill someone that has spent most of their life trying to help them. WTF?

Why aren't civies in Iraq simply allowed the right to carry guns? You would think that terrorists would think twice about jumping civilian contractors and other non-military personnel if they realized that they were allowed to pack some heat.

Yeah I wouldn't even think about working over there unless I had an M4 or AK with me at all times, heck I would tell them that I would even supply my own.

Satelite? Not unless the recieving antenna was the size of Rhode Island.

I know a little something about RF theory and Antenna design and I can tell you right now, no frickin' way! The physics just arent there to allow it.

+1, and it's not very hard to block a "digital angel" type signal, even if it is strong enough in open air.
