My poor SAR2 thats been cannabalized for parts for my Saiga-X project.

And the mean little bastard itself awaiting its front light/foregrip and ACE side folder...not marketable yet but fun as hell to shoot.

Chamberlin, do you own those guns? If so, can I have 100 dollers?  Also, if so, how did that happen? Also,is an AK-74M normally fitted with a smooth top cover?

:) hehehehe
Actually the 1P51 in the top picture is most like a telescope, it has a Schmidt-Cassegrain Catadioptrics which uses a combination of mirrors and lenses. It is passive night vision.
The big 'flame thrower' is the venerable night scope, 1PN58. THe little guy is the 1P29 low power, isotope iluminated trilux style optic.
All of these scope can be used on AKs, RPKs, PKs, SVDs, RPGs, and more. Yes, most AK-74M pics in books and pictures will have the really 'lazy' stamped ribbed top cover. Don't think it is still in use today, but in two weeks I will let you know for sure ;)
