is there a consensus "best all around" AK? i kind of want one, with a folding stock. i like the look of the synthetic furniture also. basically i am wanting a good "assault" rifle in 7.62 and like the compactness of the folders. also like the lower prices. any suggestions on well priced, accurate and reliable examples of what i want?

Take a look at the Yugo M70's that are now available through Century. They are priced right and have gotten very good reviews.

You can also probably pick up a used Vector folder on the EE if you are patient.

They can make a nice rifle, yea. The Yugos make a fine gun too, but the barrel is not chrome lined.
