Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - new WASR-10 mag probelms/

hello all, just bought my first ak, a WASR-10, i also purchased several mags, and after trial fitting them all i found that half of them would not engage or work properly, i was wondering if this is because of differences in the mags or does the mag well cutout in the receiver need to be opened up a little more, any one else had this probelm?

I had the same problem and you will have to do some filing by the mag catch area.

+1 The monkeys at Century go for quantity over quality. You have to open up the rear of the receiver a little bit.
