Campybob, if your friend is in OH, I bought one yesterday from him. He was very responsive, fast communicator and was generally good to deal with, but I didn't even try to bargain on the price. I thought the price was very fair for what it is -- it is more of a collector's item than a shooter, although I'm sure it shoots just fine.

I won't see the Mak until a couple of weeks from now, so I can't comment on the condition, although mine is supposed to be 100%, for which I paid a premium, although I'm not sure if he has any of the 100% left.

Campy, I would jump on that...but I already have 2, a 1983 and a 1976. guys these don't come up that often, if you're thinking wheather you should get one, now is the time to jump on that with both feet and wallet in had.
