I first blamed my 4x25 Leapers (not the POS 3-9x I shot up later) last fall when my SAR2 shot better with irons than a scope on the MTK75 mount. Last Wed I had a major WTF trying to zero the PO 3.5x21 scope I put on it. Clamped it down at home, wagged the scope, saw the gap vary between the siderail and receiver.
Can rivets be re-smashed, do I need new rivets, or should I just drill them out and try screws and JB Weld on a whim?
