well I decided to grab a SAR2 and it seems I'm about a month too late.  They seem to be extremly scarce now.  Anyone know of a place online with a handful?  I'm just looking for a basic SAR with the scope rail.  I see inrange has some but I dont know if theyre already krinked or not since their menu doesnt work.  Any info?

Pretty sure you can find some on gunbroker.com.  I think there is a vendor there that always has a few for sell at one time.

Edit:  Or you can save for the SEAK and get a high quality AK-74 for a good price.

Az-ar, I've been all over gunbroker and only found 1 sar2 and the dude was asking $600 for it.  

What are the seaks?  Are they the russian manufacture aks coming in with an94 furniture someone told me about?

At this moment there are 19 SAR-2's on Gunbroker.  The most expensive is $339 w/accys.

SAR-1's never interested me but I think I need one of these!

I found 1 by searching for "5.45" but it was listed after I searched yesterday.

Ok I found some more by searching for "ak74".  It appears that gunbroker's search feature is cap sensitive.

The SEAK is the Special Edition AK-74 being built by Ohio Rapid Fire, set up by ar15.com.  There is more information at the top of the page here in the AK Discussions forum.  Very nice rifles, and Ohio Rapid Fire has a very good reputation with this site and others.  $650, but worth it IMO.

George Sweet on Gunbroker probably has the best price on them. I just ordered a SAR-1 from him for $279. Can't beat that.

I guess I got lucky. AIM Surplus sent me an extra one by mistake and no, it wasn't free either but I did keep it and refinished both of them.

I wonder if this is a common problem at AIM.  A couple weeks after I got my SAR-1's, I got a call from them, asking if I'd found a CZ pistol in with my order.  Seems they misplaced one.  Unfortunately, I didn't get it.  They were calling all the orders that had shipped recently to see if anyone and received an extra treat.
