so far I have only been able to find the Ciener kit thats 180-200 dollars.  I did a search and one person waited 7-8 months and still havent got it.  Is there any other kits for the ak.  Not looking to buy gsg either.

WASR-22 or AKT-98 are both well regarded .22lr clones that you can get for under $500.

The Ciener kit is the only game in town. JAC produces them in small batches so long waits are common.
