ak kit

why are the barrels not allowed fro building section 922 compliant guns? I thought parts count made it ok to use anything as long as the numebr of parts was under the legal limit? now here they are saying you can't use teh barrle?

what is up?

I am not a lawyer, but...

My understanding is that the barrels cannot be imported for the purpose of assembling a "non-sporting" rifle. So they are passing this info on to you. But once the parts are out of the hands of the importer, there is no legal restriction on their use.

BTW a hotlink would have been nice
