Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - how to change wood for fiberglass handguard from gas tube!

I have a Yugo 59/66 that I'm fitting a ChiCom red fiberglass stock to, and I can't figure out how to get the wood off of the handguard (short of cutting it off) to replace it with the fiberglass.  Help!

1.  Is there a method of removing the receiver end of the gas tube to slip the wood off and the fiberglass on?

2.  OR is there somewhere I can buy a gas tube and assemble it myself?
