Yes, unless you have the capability to harden the whole receiver, but most of us just harden the axis pin holes. |

Home Depot sell a mapp gas and oxygen setup welding kit. You can make the flame pencil thin. My first build I did'nt harden the ejector good enough and it started mushrooming out. I used the thin flame to concentrate the heat to just the ejector, keeping warping to a minimum. The set-up was like $50 and worked great.
