If you have a pair of vice grips, use one of the handles, stick it down into the gas chamber, and beat it off the barrel with a hammer.

Since I'm replacing it I went ahead and used a cutting wheel then knocked it off.

No its on a post ban that came with no bayonet lug/rod holder. I'm removing all the weird crap they put on and replacing with what it should have had.
