I've seen them in the past at a few shows, but never had a reason to grab one. Any leads on where to find a 75rnd double stack mag? I believe that one manufacturer was National Magazine, but I haven't been able to track down a site for the company (if it even exists). I'm sure I'll toss out for a 75rnd Chinese drum soon enough, but these just looked too damn evil to pass up now that I look back on it. Furthermore, if anyone owns such a beast, care to tell anything about them? How do they handle fully loaded? Big change in balance at all?

I own one, the thing was an absolute piece of crap before I worked it over. The follower (which, btw, was the cheapest piece of plastic crap I've ever seen) came all the way up to the top of the magazine, instead of being stopped by the two little bumps. I took the follower out of another magazine I had and replace it ( which also involved bending the magazine outwords with needle nose pliers so the new follower wouldn't get hung up). After that it's a workable magazine. Also, the steel is a lot thinner than military surplus magazines, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were easier to break. You just have to ask yourself if it's worth the trouble, although your mileage may vary. hinking.gif
