so my Chinese drum functions just fine. however i have noticed that when loading it, 2 rounds are in very tightly, like the track/trough that they slide on is very tight against them in that section and i have to push them in order for them to become seated properly.
this concerns me because all other 73 rounds fall in place with no effort at all.
is this something to be concerned about?
i can not see a dent or damage that would be causing the trough to be tighter in this area compared to others...

also, i did the fix for trigger slap, and ground off the part on the trigger assembly.
do i need to refinish this area? will it rust if i do not refinish it?
i plan on useing Por 15 paint(never rusts, chips etc) when i get the chance, most likeley summer when i use it on my car as well

As long as the drum functions I wouldn't worry about 2 rounds being "tight" when loading them.
Any bare metal is going to rust over time so just make sure to keep it oiled till you get around to painting it.
