Anyone have directions to mount the be square mount on AK/Mak90, also is it worth it to do so? It apears you need to remove trigger/pins. I am mechnical. Just have not dog into a AK/clone more than cleaning. Any tips.

Yes it has the pins? Im just not dure how they screw together, or how to remove pins with out parts going "fling" I have never done more than field strip for cleaning on this. Also I would like to know if this mount is worthy of the install. Can I exspect it to hold the scopes zero? It has to be better than the scope rail on the "top dust cover"????

they are ok.  one problem, you have to take the mount off to clean.
the install is kind of tricky.  you might need an extra pair of hands or some clamps or something.

honestly, i didnt like it when i had one.  though i did think that the rifle looked pretty cool with some big glass on it.  but after all, its an AK.  you arent going to win a bullseye contest with it.

it held zero ok, i guess.  nothing like a larue mount though.  and it is probably much better than the dust cover mount.

if you do decide to put the mount on, make sure you use some kind of thread locker on the FCG bolts, and make sure not to over tighten them.  you should use some thread locker on the screws that attach the mount to the FCG bolts too, but not too much or you will have a problem taking the mount off to clean the rifle.

just curious, are you intending on mounting a riflescope or some kind of red dot?

if you are dead set on getting a scope mount on you rifle, i would recommend getting one of those side mount deals or something that replaces the rear sight.  larue has something that replaces the rear sight, and having one of those side rails put on is pretty cheap.

the b-square mount is ok, but if you are anything like me you will want to replace it within a few range trips.

YMMV, i hope i helped.
