Sounds like it could win you a trip to club fed.

I saw it in the ar15 ultimate source book I got years ago

using it is a very bad idea, very dangerous as indeed it operates the trigger twice for every one operation of the lever, paintballers use it alot though

the only fire on pull and release trigger device that was declared evil by the batfe was the part that dropped into a ruger mini 14/30 that allowed the gun to fire on pull and release.... because it wsa installed into the fcg and not an addon

I have a friend who has one for paint ball and if you find the right spot just a little motion keeps it firing full auto. And technicly you would get 2 shots per pull of the trigger making it a machine gun. Cool but not cool.

A while back this same thing came up and a Team Member posted a document from the BATFE stating that full auto is when more than one round is fired on a single stroke. So this device is legal since it fires one round on the rearward stroke and one round on the forward stroke. I can't find the post and my skills at locating documents on the BATFE website are poor. Maybe someone remembers this post or can find it on the Fed's website.

The first aks I ever held had those on them.....A friend of my parents had 2 of them In the late 80s. I guess I was 10 or so. Very cool But inderstandably dangerous device. Could be easy to rock and roll with those......Can we get a verdict as to actual legality of these parts?

ETA: Thats a nice bug on the bottom there....Is that some thing that you found a pic of on the web or something you acquired?

it's mine.. i got it a while back in a trade deal....

i had one on an ar15 years ago and it was a blast.. always have to remember that its gonna fire when triggers is released...
there isa dealer who hits all of the local gun shows around houston who has one for an ar 15 in the box.. he's asking 300.00 for it....... he offerd to buy mine for 50.00....
his has a copy of the batf ruling that it was found to be in compliance with all batf rules as it fired only 1 projectile per pull of the trigger

the drop in part that worked on the ruger mini 14/30 was banned becasue batf ruled the the gun was modified internally to alter the the fcg

Well if this thing is soo cool and is legal to use on AKs and ARs, why dont they make them anymore??

they still make them as far as i know. Under names like "hellstorm" and "hellfire", there are at least 4 brands i know of. And they all cost way less then 300 buxs. More like a few dollars. If they are totally legal i want one.
