is it as simple as it looks? is the skeleton model from robarm a different design or did they just cut it out? i need a high fashion vepr!

I am going to do it my self. Yes it will be as easy as cutting out the thinner part. However the trick is finding away to sand the cut part and not look like it was just all scratched up on the inside. I have not decided exactly what I am going to do yet but I am going to mod my forearm and make it smaller as well.

I did mine on a router table, then just move the stock around to remove the material to the edge for a perfect job.

I got the 3/8" router bit from Home Depot, it wasn't hard to do, make sure to remove the sling stud and as you begin to remove material the plastic heats up and begins to clump up on the bit, stop and clean off build up, the faster you move across the surface the less the plastic will clump.

I would think skeletonizing a VEPR would make the darn thing ever more nose heavy than it already is.

Thats top notch man. Looks like it cane from the factory like that. and you probably saved yourself about 50 bucks!
I am gonna do my black foregrip when I get it. But I want to do something different from the standard. Maybe diagonal slots or something.
