If you are looking for an actaual AK that shoots .22, the model is a WASR 22. It is a Romanian training rifle and is an actual AK. I bought one for my son. The only problem with them is the extractor usually needs tweaked. Dunham's sells them , and I believe you can get them from SOG. I am not familiar with anything made in Spain. There is a piece of junk made in the Phillipines that I would stay away from...that is probably what you saw.

WASR 22. Romanian training rifle is junk I have ordered some from SOG and had to send them all back, jams of all kinds and very poor workmanship. I would take a 10/22 anytime.

My Romanian AKT-98 runs just fine after a few hundred rounds to smooth it in.

I KNOW WHAT IS STAMPED ON TH REC SIDE, and mine came with bl;ck plstic stock instead of wood |
