Would be convenient for me to find Ras47 information.
I'm thinking there's enough ak's made in America to warrant a separate forum along with the other countries That have forms please.

Edited: Probably not the place for that

Honestly, I don't think current offerings warrant that. There are zero 100% US made AK pattern rifles that are on par with their foreign made counterparts IMO.

Maybe if someone actually starts putting out a good product consistently.

Why bother if you bought a ras47 without reading all the negative there is about them here and many other ak information sites. I doubt many would read it in another section. There is a lot of bad on the net about the ras47. I just hope you haven't bought it already.

I YouTubed because there wasn't an American forum. For instance AK operator unions test is actually a Testament to it's accuracy and durability once  you realize he was wrong with his assertion that because a no go gauge fit there was fail he was ignorant a field gauge is a test for semi autos.

It's a testament to its durability how? It closed on the no-go WAY before it should have. Not to mention the excessive metal peening of critical locking surfaces.

AK47 USA, why not add USA to the other countries? It's only gonna be growing . Am I missing some reason of why it shouldn't be?

At an absolute minimum, this is reason enough imo.

As for them being available at a competitive price: I'd rather pay that little bit more, and not fear an impromptu facial reconstruction.

I learned this the hard way when I bought a USA made AK47. I was very disappointed to say the least. I guess the Russian made Saiga I bought and converted many years ago spoiled me on neat, clean rivets, hardened steel receivers and bolt carriers and straight sights... The tail-end of an AK bolt carrier shouldn't start mushrooming after only 30 rounds.

Maybe one of these days things will change; I hope so.

Well there's plenty American ak's out there and people would like information. I'm surprised at what seems life snobbery.

I'm surprised it took you this long to accuse people of snobbery. That's probably the mantra of IO/RAS/C39/Etc. owners. "They think I made a bad purchase due to well documented reasons. Must be snobs."

There is a lot of knowledge on this thread and forum.   Lot of us have owned all sorts of AKs from every nationality.  You would be smart to listen to guys who have a lot more experience with the subject instead of criticizing them.

Bottom line, The "All American" AKs have significant and potentially dangerous QC issues

How much experience do I have? Whether they're c*** or not why don't they get their own section.
