Just wondered if anybody was doing anything to their "G" spot hock.gif or just leaving it alone and not fiddling with it Any pics?

I left mine alone. I just bent the flat, assembled the rifle and started shooting. I've never had more fun with a rifle, probably 'cause I built it myself . (I didn't really believe it was possible 'til I did it.)

I had Chris Bulter build my Romy "G" kit up and he did an awesome job. I left the wood just the way it came and it looks and runs like a champ!

You could probably remove the "G" with a belt sander.

Would you have to spot weld it?

I remove the orange paint and then use Brownell's Oxphoblue on the engraved part. It's hardly noticable after that.

I had mine built and parked. you can still make out the G under the finish. I wouldn't want to grind it off though..it's part of the rifle's history.
