gunbroker.com stripped ak receiver......$70
k-var.com ak-74 kit..............$179 rivets.............$12 or screws for about the same. This is the route I'm taking. Just bought 2 AR receivers and 1 ak receiver. |

If you're pretty good at tinkering and take you're time Id say this is the way to go...If not builders usually get about $200 to build one from kit...
Dont forget you also need a FCG $30.. A US Gas piston $20 And a US pitol grip.$16 to $20 Dang thats $331 |

Romanian AKs can be found for about $350 out the door in hicap form, and saving a bit longer may be easier than a build. Locap WASR 10s wholesale at about $190, but will cost about the same when you add 5 US parts for the hicap conversion legality later on.
