I see Eastern bloc (romanians) all over now for $70 or so + shipping. I have heard that Chinese Wind-up toys are inferior to these which have the mag loader installed. My question is would $85+ be better suited on one of these (with shipping) or would I be better off with 2 fistfuls of 40 rounders for the same price?

I far prefer the chinese drums to the romanian drums. Easier to load and unload, can be left loaded forever, if necessary, then cranked up when you need to use it.  They are also available in 100 round capacity.

Chinese are my first choice as well. For the same reasons DavidC mentioned.

Defiantly spend the few extra buck for a Chinese drum....Your fingers will thank you....

Not to Hi-jack, but does anyone have a site where the Chinese drums can be had at a reasonable price?
