Hi I was having some jamming and I sent my rifle to rifle dynamics and Jim told me I have a wide center support stud and it could be a serious issue, could someone explain to me why?

I would guess that he's referring to the diameter of the support inside the receiver, not the rivet head on the outside.

I can see if one is over sized that it could be an issue, if it is, the only fix would be to have it replaced.
ETA: Being over sized could cause the bolt to hit in when cycling, and also cause load issues with the mag. I will have to get home and tear mine down to make a better observation. |
