Hi!

I don't know this guy, but I ran inthis Tiger for $1600 last night.  Looked liked a hell of a deal.

If I wasn't hot to trot to buy a Mint IMI UZI I might be all over this

there were 2 on gunbroker the other day, one was only at $1250 and had no reserve.

This sale isn't that great.  A guy on the EE about a week ago sold a TIGR with something like 10 mags, and an extra scope for $1600.

Well, it sounded like a good price after I saw some of the prices quoted in that thread.

Deals like the one Mauser Mark is referring too are few and far between. The 10 round mags go for around 85.00 when you can find them and a Tigr will easily bring 1500.00.That Guy was looking for a quick sale and got it.

Travis, I want an uzi as well.

I talked to vector, they will not have any new uzi's until April at the earliest they said.

The best deal seems to be buying straight from them through an FFL.  $600 for the semi with the carbine barrel or the SBR version, or the full-size pistol version.

I'm in the Uzi market myself.  Some guy on GB has a vector, wants 1k for it.

Getting back to Tigrs, Johno and I did a $/trade deal for a wholelot less that those prices.  Mine had a legit Soviet era SVD buttstock and sling also.  The deals are out there, look around the net, check the boards that don't have as much traffic.   Also don't give up.  The guy I bought that one from took two weeks to get back to me.  He was on vacation.   Last spring I got beat out at a gunshow for one.  Like new, case etc. for $750

Do a quick search, there was a pretty good thread about it recently.  It will give you a bunch of info'  Here isthe quick version.  A true SVD has a 24" barrel, adjustable gas system,FH with a bayonet lug, lightening cuts in the reciever and is not importable.  Tigrs(like JOHNO's) are not importable either.  True SVDs are few and far between in this country.   They are here as bringback or a couple of imported for museum use.

I want a real one.

-  I've been patiently on the waiting list since October.   I think I'm still going to buy both an IMI and Vector.  I'd like both to pretty much be future investments safe queens.  You can't bump and UZI - so there goes the fun factor for me.  So, basically they just look cool

TN Hmm.. let's see.   It doeesn't snow there.  That means no shoveling the walk, the drive way,  you got mountains down there.  You have class 3 and SBR's.  You got a lot of cool AK guys, you, Jeep, some fellow named Sellars.....  What's not to like!

I'll tag along.

Maybe we should set up an annual meet for the AK crew.  Each year someone new hosts.
