It is Barnaul. I wish they would stop packaging their stuff so many different ways.  It is getting hard to keep track of.

Your right about that.  I just seen some new ammo called "golden tiger".  It's got a cool looking box.

Oh,God...now I'm really getting confused.
Seems our friends in Russia are starting to get the hang of this marketing thing. I thing they need need to put "Poison Bullet- Afghan Proven" in bold lettering on the box.

Give them time, they might just do it.

The Golden Tiger is made at the Vympel plant.  It was one of the old factories that just started to make ammo (for the civilian market at least) again.

I fired ~500 rds of Golden Tiger, a few weeks ago, not a singe problem.  I was just plinking so I did not do any accuracy testing so I don't know how it will do at the Range. However, I hit the Soda can at 50 yards every time.
